Dream Mile Inverclyde
The newly-formed Dreams Come True Inverclyde charity is holding a number of Dream Miles on the new 3rd generation fieldturf football pitch off Drumshantie Road, just below the main games arena.
Organiser and local businessman Chris Jewell hopes as many people as possible, whether individuals or teams will want to run/walk or even skip a mile and make a sick child’s dream come true. There will be a number of Dream Miles throughout the afternoon, including a fancy dress run for all ages with the help of Disney’s Mickey and Minnie Mouse plus some other fun activities

Even if you cannot manage to fit with this timetable, don’t worry, the team will make sure you get to run your Dream Mile during the afternoon.
Sports clubs and local businesses are being encouraged to enter teams, as well as teams of local school children and the uniformed groups like Scouts, Girl Guides, Brownies, Cubs, Beavers, Sea and Air Cadets and the Boys’ and Girls’ Brigade so that everyone of whatever age can help this worthwhile charity.
There will be a £5 entry fee per person to run the Dream Mile with all the proceeds going to Dreams Come True in Inverclyde charity. Sponsorship forms are available to all entrants to raise as much as possible for their Dream Mile with a prize for the individual who raises the most money.
To enter as an individual or a team, see
the events page at Dreams Come True Inverclyde and register there using the Dream Mile downloadable form. Sponsorship forms can also be printed off from the same page.
